Meet The Owner
Greetings! I am Arianne Abbate, the owner of The Great Event. I started this business as a hobby in 2018. I get my inspiration from my wedding day. I was able to plan a budget-friendly wedding in a span of 6 months (we were so in love we couldn't wait!) and had absolutely no idea where to start, but everything fell into place. It was the most beautiful day of my life, so far.
After my wedding, I realized that I wanted to help brides feel as happy and stress-free as I did on my wedding day. That is when I decided to pursue The Great Event.
The Abbates
My husband and I met at Texas A&M University (Whoop!) in 2013. We relocated to the Austin area in 2016 and got married that Christmas.
I'll let you in on a little secret: I only started dating him because of his adorable dog, but they were a package deal.
