Table Numbers: Do We Need Them?

Have you ever been to a wedding where you had to stand in the buffet line for a really long time with 50 other guests? A wedding where the long line of people reaches all across the dance floor or around the tables? I'm sure we all have. And, I'm sure we all agree that it is not the most pleasant part of weddings.

Lots of couples planning their wedding day seem to overlook the very small detail of having Table Numbers. Small weddings under 50 guests can get away without the table numbers. But if you are expecting a big number for your wedding day, placing table numbers on the reception tables will most definitely save you the hassle and trouble of dealing with long buffet lines and unhappy family members. Table numbers make it easier for the host of the night to announce which table's turn it is to get their food. It also avoids other guests from getting up to get their food before the immediate family has had their turn to get their food. This keeps the flow of guests going to the buffet table in control.

When the time to start planning the small details of the reception comes, table numbers should be highly considered.
